CXC Youth Cup Great Lakes

The CXC Youth Cup Great Lakes is a fun way for U12 and U14 athletes to compete at the Great Lake's best cross country skiing venues.

Developed in cooperation with the Minnesota Youth Ski League and cross country ski coaches from Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan, the CXC Youth Cup started in the winter 2015 to promote the growth and development of junior cross country ski racers, and to expose young athletes to the fundamental building blocks required for high-level cross country ski racing.

No membership is required to participate in Youth Cup races. However, only competitors with Youth General membership will be provided preferential race seeding based on points and ranking.

The U14 skiers who finish in the top 5 on the divisional ranking list will earn a spot at Dream Camp.

The CXC Youth Cup series is sanctioned by the Central Cross Country Ski Association (CXC).
